The Automotive Service Technicians complete all diagnostics and repairs by following guidance from the manufacturer's service policies, bulletins, procedures, and provincial government safety regulations of PEI, treating every vehicle as if their closest loved ones would be driving away in it, when it comes to safety, reliability, and cleanliness.

The Automotive Service Technicians work closely with each Service Advisor to review every operation on the repair order, before and after completion of the RO. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete all diagnostics and repairs following the manufacturer's policies and procedures
  • Adhere to provincial government safety regulations
  • Maintain high standards when it comes to safety, reliability and cleanliness of customer's vehicles.
  • Work with each Service Advisor to review every operations on repair orders.

Key Performance Requirements:

  • Achieve 100% hours produced vs payroll hours
  • 100% monthly TAC Talk attendance
  • 88.5% minimum Customer Satisfaction score
  • Achieve industry standards when it comes to hours sold per repair order by performing thorough inspections on 100% of the vehicles you work on and writing detailed stories on each cause and correction of each repair.

Qualifications:

  • Automotive Red Seal Certification
  • 10+ years automotive service experience
  • Valid Driver's License

Detailing Specialists are responsible for efficiently cleaning vehicles within the allotted time allowed, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship with 0 comebacks. They are responsible for checking the lot to make sure all vehicle displays are in order and ensure all vehicle doors are locked when leaving at the end of the day. The Detailing Specialists work closely with both sales and service departments, leaving no customer behind.

Key Performance Requirements

  • 0 Near Safety Misses
  • Positive working relationship with both sales and service department
  • High quality workmanship with 0 comebacks
  • Lot to be checked every evening before leaving to ensure all doors are locked
  • Work area and vehicle displays to be in order before leaving for the day

  • Ontime for work and no missed days
  • Drive the speed limit and pay attention to your surroundings with 0 accidents
  • Always be moving and constantly focused on completing tasks
  • Efficiently clean vehicles within the allotted time
  • Leave no customer behind. Always go the extra mile to help

Qualifications 

  • Drivers license and clean drivers abstract required. Must be comfortable driving large pick ups. 

Apprentice Technician Wanted Who's Hungry to Learn

The Apprentice Technician we're looking to add to our team is a service minded team player who has a strong sense of duty and a passion for accuracy.  The selfless, process-oriented individual methodically handles each task, striving to perfect everything they learn.  Are you someone who has some experience working with vehicles and would like to expand that skillset in a professional environment that gives you all the tools and support to eventually evolve into a certified automotive technician?  If so, this could be the "foot-in-the-door" opportunity you've been looking for.

At Township, our Apprentice Technicians start off learning how to perform all basic routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire changes, brake services, replace filters and perform multi-point health inspections.  From there, we'll move you on to a learning path that will teach you how to do some light repair work such as steering repairs, suspension and module programming.  After that, you will work your way towards performing basic diagnostic work and be exposed to more in-depth repairs and so on.  

We will work closely with you to ensure you have adequate training, experience and hours to start your journey towards the Automotive Apprenticeship Program and eventually become a Red Seal Certified technician.
